What I write…

There are two types of writing I group my experience into; the first is a book. When starting off on my own I looked for stories about female entrepreneurs. What I found were plenty of inspirational stories, but none detailed what happens on a day-to-day. I wanted to hear about the trenches, the sticky, the funny moments and the rollercoaster. I didn’t want to experience this from someone who had already “made it”, I wanted to know the live thoughts, movements, doubts, actions. And so, in 2017, I wrote about my first year being an entrepreneur. How do you buy a domain? Are there doubters? What made me do this to being with? Each chapter reflects a week-in-the-life. Secondly, I write often about women and technology. Over the past 18 months, I have accumulated over 120 blogs highlighting women of the past and present building better futures for us. I have also written about topical issues with the intention of humanizing concepts like “web3”, “NFTs”, “cryptocurrency” for the masses. These pieces reflect not just a wide breath of information I am interested in, but also the action taken to filter and educate that information to those not as comfortable with new technology concepts.
