Tarkett recruited me to represent, market, and sell their Johnsonite (hard surface) division in the midwest. Working with over 800 accounts, the five of us on the midwest team surpassed our quarterly and annual goals. At the same time, Tarkett was merging teams from Johnsonite and Tandus Centiva. We had the opportunity to learn about each other’s materials as well as partner-present to accounts. Due to the merger, the Johnsonite team was tasked to create and complete many UX surveys. Design thinking was re-ignited yet again. We mixed our personable skills, strategy, and R&D attributions daily. I specifically instituted the role of industry expertise and what the emerging ‘tech industry’ needed from the company - enacting as a consultative sales and confidant across roles. I enjoyed the team, Tarkett’s product and community as well as appreciate my time spent with the multi-billion dollar international enterprise.
